Toe deformity surgery

Toe deformity surgery is a surgical procedure used to solve anatomical foot deformities: hammer toe deformity, claw toe deformity, and mallet toe deformity.

The most common reasons for the appearance of toe deformities are wearing tight shoes and toe compression. When this happens often and for a long time, the toes remain in this abnormal position. Long-term wearing of high-heeled shoes carries a particularly high risk of creating toe deformities.

Hammer toe deformity

A hammer toe deformity occurs when the toe is turned downward in its middle joint. This usually happens on the second finger and is often the result of the thumb pressing on it. Claw finger deformity

Deformity of the little finger

The deformity of the little finger is a deformity in which the most distal joint of the finger is bent downwards. This is most commonly seen in the second toe in patients whose second toe is the longest. The formation of painful blisters on the top of the deformity of the little finger is common.
